The Marie Curie sock quest is back again this year, last year 354 pairs of socks were made by some amazing people, enough for everyone in a Marie Curie hospice at Christmas. The remaining pairs were sent to help people who are suffering in Ukraine.
Our hope is to be able to achieve this again giving people receiving care at Christmas a pair of socks on Christmas day.
this listing is for a skein of ."Daffodil Hope" has been hand dyed especially to show case the socks this year. The yarn is soft, but hardwearing 75% super wash merino, 25% nylon , 100g 425m perfect for socks. £2 from each skein will be donated to Marie Curie.
The yarn is hand dyed using environmentally friendly dyes, because it is hand dyed no two yarns are identical.
Although this yarn is super wash I recommend hand washing .
All items are photographed in natural light, but Please bear in mind variances among colour monitors may mean that the colours may be slightly different on your screen.
