Earlier this year during Lockdown i designed a Hope shawl for a mystery box, The shawl has proved to be so popular i have put together some kits especially for Yarndale@home this weekend. The kits contains 2 skeins of 75% merino 25% nylon yarn, 100g 425m per skein, plus a free pattern. The 2nd Photograph is of the shawl knitted for the pattern and one knitted by a customer.
This yarn is hand painted using environmentally friendly dyes , And is sourced from either the UK or South America.
The dye Process: We use non-toxic acid dyes .The dye process has very little waste , and all of the dyes are exhausted into yarns before any water is poured away. I use food grade citric acid as setting agent, and rinse with water, to maintain a low impact on the environment. i take care to provide colourfastness, but some bleeding may occur in the first wash.
Each skein is hand painted so no two yarns are identical.
Although this yarn is super wash I recommend hand washing .
All items are photographed in natural light, but Please bear in mind variances among colour monitors may mean that the colours may be slightly different on your screen. However, every effort has been taken to ensure that the photographs that we have taken accurately represent the colours of the yarn.
all yarns are stored in a smoke and pet free environment
